Urban Infrastructure Systems

Synopsis
An introduction to the role of the different distributional infrastructure systems that underpin life in modern cities. Examines in turn each of the five sets of infrastructure - energy, transport, telecommunications, water, and waste - that support Newcastle upon Tyne. Concludes by arguing that we should take a more integrated view of infrastructure provision and management.
