Team Building

Synopsis

Looks at team building skills, beginning with a small group of health service workers from the Ravensbourne NHS Trust, who meet informally to understand and improve their services to clients. Then looks at a more structured team-building exercise with an international group of managers from the Whirlpool Corporation, with activities centring around a performance measure known as DISC. The two activities are set within a wider debate about the value of team working to the development of effective managerial performance.
