Synopsis

A scientific explanation for the legend of the Bermuda Triangle, based on the lifelong research of an American geochemist, Dr Richard McIver. He reasons that large gravity slumps around the US continental shelf breach the hydrate zone and release huge quantities of methane trapped beneath. His theory is built on the experiences of the oil and gas industry, observations from scientists worldwide, and visits to the mud volcanoes of Azerbaijan and the depths of the Atlantic.
