Synopsis

Aimed at heads and teachers in primary schools to encourage them to develop a policy for science teaching. Shot in six schools in two authorities in Merseyside and in Edge Hill College of Education. Brings out the key role of Heads and the part played by science co-ordinators and science advisers. Examples: dental hygiene, dynamics of rolling balls, hydraulics, soap bubbles and strength of plastics.
