In a Bombay hospital Dr Sharadini Dahanukar is working to prove that traditional Ayurvedic drugs and therapies have ‘scientific’ validity. Also shows the stages of silk production. The overall argument this that a fusion of modern science with indigenous knowledge can provide a powerful way forward for poor communities.
