Runaway Mountain, The
- Synopsis
- Traces the recent discovery of a new type of landslide, where millions of tonnes of rock can ‘liquefy’ to flow like water at the speed of an express train. Even though such landslides are common, geologists are only now acknowledging their existence. Also forecasts a major disaster that could inundate coastal regions around the whole of the Pacific basin.
