Real: Reading and Listening Strategies (2 Parts)

Synopsis

Programs designed to help students intending to study abroad to enhance their reading and listening skills in the target language. Users are taught to recognise the reading and listening skills they already employ subcousciously in their own language - prediction, skimming, scanning, searching, and understanding a range of text types - and encouraged to apply them consciously to reading and listening activities in English. Nine texts are provided in each package. Additionally users are encouraged to assess their own work and as a result, become more independent language learners.
