Batching

Synopsis: Shows how the batching operations are carried out on a site using a medium sized reversing drum mixer. It starts by examining the materials and equipment that will be used; it goes on to show how the weighing mechanism is tested for accurate working and checked for correct operation; it examines the general maintenance, setting the tallies, weighing the sand and stone from a stock pile using a drag feed, weighing cement from a silo and adding the water.
