Basic Skills for Practice Teachers

Synopsis
Designed to demonstrate the use of three basic skills in practice teaching. Covers planning work with students, helping them when things go wrong and criticising a student’s work when the student thinks the work is of acceptable quality. Consists of three scenes, each showing a practice teacher and student during a teaching session. Examples of good practice are highlighted in the programme by the use of a screen marker.
