Movements of the Rabbit’s Alimentary Canal

Synopsis
Records the movements of the alimentary canal musculature for subsequent analysis. Shows the movements of the stomach and intestine in various degrees of activity in the anaesthetised animal, eg. ‘segmentation movements’ in the first part of the duodenum, ‘swaying’ or ‘pendular’ movements in the small intestine, intussusceptions forming and pulling out, movements of terminal part of the ileum, excessive activity of caecum, movements of haustrated colon, movements of ‘smooth’ colon and propulsion of faecal balls, etc.
