- Demonstrates the use of infra-red thermography to monitor the effectiveness of arthritic drug treatments. Another important method of heat transfer is convection and this is illustrated using the technique of schlieren optics. Looks at the medical applications of this system and records live the first ever experiment of the effectiveness of a new design of incubator for premature babies.
