- Filmed at the University Marine Biological Station on the Isle of Cumbrae, shows plants and animals of rocky and sandy shores and demonstrates some of the stresses that operate on sea shores and how the organisms cope. Also shows the methods of locomotion and feeding of some sea animals and their adaptation to their environment - their form and function.
