Laser and the Living Cells

Synopsis
When the beam of a ruby laser is greatly reduced in diameter on its passage through a microscope it can punch a minute hole in the cell. In this way, a functional analysis of all organelles can be made by selectively changing certain of their structures. In a similar way the effects of irradiation can be studied. *BMA/BLAT
