Synopsis
Part of a course consisting of 4 study packs, all relating to different aspects of contemporary Germany. Each study pack covers 2 units and consists of a videocassette, 3 audiocassettes and a transcript booklet. The activities audiocassette give students an opportunity to practise speaking and listening to German. The material is chosen to assist in building language skills and give an insight into a variety of aspects of life today in Germany and German-speaking countries. The themes of this pack are KULTUR UND KRITIK - art in society and KAUFEN UND VERKAUFEN - the consumer society.

They have posted this message on their website: ‘Unfortunately Open University Worldwide Limited has decided that product sales are no longer viable given the reduced funding to Higher Education institutions and diminishing demand for the products we have traditionally stocked.
