Approximate Reasoning Systems: Fuzzy Logic Controllers

Synopsis

Explains the approximate reasoning technology common to fuzzy expert systems and fuzzy logic controllers. During the development phase, this technology allows the reduction of design cycle time by providing an interactive computing environment based on a rule interpreter. The course teaches the relationship between fuzzy logic controllers and expert systems, the five stages of knowledge-based software development which are: requirements, generation, functional validation, compilation, and run-time deployment.
