Synopsis

A video-based training package designed to help managers recognise stress, suggesting possible action to reduce risks to the lowest accceptable level. It forms a flexible framework around which managers and employees can learn to define and tackle stress in the workplace. In four sections: 1) introduction to stress - nature and scope of the problem; 2) stressors - causes and signs of stress; 3) dealing with stress - implementing practical, cost-effective stress management schemes; 4) reducing the risk - risk assessment and reduction.
