- Britain’s Chief Medical Officer is warning people not to buy any brand of hazelnut yoghurt, because of the risk of contracting botulism. Ten people are still seriously ill in hospital after eating separate makes of the yoghurt. Richard Gilbert of the Central Public Health Laboratory describes the symptoms; Chief Medical Officer Donald Acheson warns the public to avoid hazelnut youghurts. James Matthews reports.
