Description

Japan’s Prime Minister may have apologised for atrocities committed against allied prisoners of war fifty years ago, but the fight for compensation goes on. Japan maintains the matter of money was settled in the San Francisco peace treaty. However Martyn Day, one of the lawyers for the POWs, says the situation is extremely unsatisfactory.
