Sophie Dekker gives a round up of events in the Gulf war as the allied effort against Iraq continues. Steve McCormack(?) reports from HMS London on 2 Iraqi jets being intercepted and shot down by American fighter pilots. Defence expert from Edinburgh University, Professor John Erickson comments on a row between the USSR and the USA about whether Russian technicians are helping to maintain Iraqi weapons. Deputy Director of the Red Cross, Francis Amar says the organisation has so far been denied access to prisoners of war in Iraq.
