An animal welfare group is today organising a mass lobby of Parliament over the lifing of trade barriers in Europe in 1992. Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) fear the open market could mean even more animals being transported in squalid conditions, and slaughtered in sub-standard abbattoirs.
