- Washington correspondent Simon Marks reports from the United States where teams are investigating an air crash. All 131 people on board US Air flight 427 died when the plane smashed into a wooded ravine minutes before it was due to land at Pittsburgh Airport. Officials are being hampered by bad weather and the severity of the crash which coroners say has made recovering the bodies almost impossible.
