Description

The United News group is merging with Lord Hollick’s MAI corporation, which already owns Anglia and Meridian TV as well as a lucrative money broking operation. Lord Hollick will be chief executive of the new company (which so far hasn’t got a name). United’s old boss, Lord Stevens will be chairman. Dominic Waghorn asked Lord Hollick why he thinks the move is good news for consumers. He comments on the political implications.
