- Description
- US President Ronald Reagan blames Abu Nidal and his Fatah organisation for the recent terrorist attacks in Rome and Vietnam international airports. He urges the world community to extract from Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi a high price for his support and encouragement of terrorism. Reagan has signed an executive order that imposes a total ban on direct export and import with Libya, except for journalism or humanitarian reasons. Italy’s Prime Minister, Bettino Craxi, emphasised the necessity not only of coping with terrorists, but identifying those states that guarantee terrorists protection.
