Play synopsis: Farcical comedy. ‘The action of the play takes place in the living room of Glenmally House, Argyll, the official residence of the General Officer Commanding, North Western District. [...] With the Major-General absent from his mansion headquarters, what better chance for his wife to make a little bit on the side than by running the place as a hotel, with the attractions that Scotland can offer?
