A RIde on the Donkeys

Summary
1959 BBC production of A Ride on the Donkeys by Willis Hall, presented by the Midlands television studio. This was the first in a trilogy of Hall’s ‘seaside’ plays to be televised this year (Last Day in Dreamland, A Glimpse of the Sea and A Ride on the Donkeys), although it is not certain that any of these were written for the stage, despite the involvement of the Nottingham Playhouse Company in the first of the television productions.
