Summary
This three-part Associated-Rediffusion production of Euripides’ Medea was given as part of a wider set of programmes on ancient Greece entitled Theatres and Temples: The Greeks. Earlier programmes in this series included repeat transmissions of the 1961 ITV Schools productions of Iphigenia at Aulis (titled A Sacred Offering) and the three plays of the Oresteia trilogy (titled The Crimson Path, The Black Furies and The Judgement).
