Play synopsis: Three young explorers spend eighteen months in the African jungle, locating a gold mine that promises to make them millionaires - but they have no right to it. Their financier from the City arrives, offering them a month’s wages for their efforts; in response, they resolve to kill him. The green pack of the title refers to the pack of cards from which they draw lots as to who will commit the murder. He is found dead, but did one of them, in fact, do the deed?
