Play synopsis

On a hot summer’s day a dull and unattractive schoolteacher Agatha Purvis goes swimming in the Mediterranean sea. This tale involves her transformation into the spirit of the Nymph Phea, the Bright One, and what happens on the return of her and her fellow-passengers to England after their cruise of the Greek islands.
