Play synopsis: 'Jennie, her husband Dan, and his office colleague, Eddie, are on the surface, grreat kidders. They’re always ready for a laugh, always teasing each other about marriage, drink - and, most of all, their jobs with "The Company". But underneath it all there are undercurrents of tension and fear, which reach an explosive climax when their big boss arrives on the scene’ (TV Times, 4 July 1958, p. 31).
