Play synopsis

'The basic situation concerns the way in which the past catches up with the present for Carsten Bernick, wealthy shipbuilder and local great man, with the return from America of his younger brother-in-law, Johan, supposed to have been the guilty party in a finacnial and moral scandal fifteen years before’ (source: Radio Times, 23 November 1956, p. 15).
