Play synopsis

Robin and Sylvia Herriot are at a vulnerable point in their marriage. They are on a return visit to the Scottish fishing hotel where they spent part of their honeymoon twelve years earlier. They believe themselves to be happy but the shine has gone. Sylvia has been unable to have children and Robin’s roving eye has been caught by fellow-guest, the youthful Mab Lawrence.
