Play synopsis: The action takes place in 1816 at 13 Chapel Street, Park Lane, London; at The Stein, Brighton; in the garden of John Buckland’s house in Sussex; and at Aimack’s Club, London. Captain George Brummell, an upper-class dandy, has to leave the army after having insulted the crown prince. He starts a smear campaign against the prince who, tired of all the yes-men around him, then hires him as his chief advisor.
