Play synopsis

A one-act ‘diversion’ about the goings-on at Mrs Lafferty’s Glasgow boarding-house. One of the lodgers is a journalist and when another is found dead she starts working on a ‘murder’ special edition of her newspaper. The ‘dead’ man, however, is discovered to have been merely asleep in his bath.
