Play synopsis: A full-bodied farce of mistaken identity in which Moulineaux is in love with the adorable Suzanne, but her husband follows her everywhere. For their trysts he acquires the use of an apartment which used to belong to a dressmaker and which is full of the tools of the trade. Suzanne’s husband follows her there one day, and, believing the man to be a dressmaker, decides to have a dress made for his own mistress.
