Play synopsis

A play with music. ‘The play revolves around Mr Miller, a self-made man with social aspirations and his ward, Mike, who is one of those wards one likes to guard; she has pots of money. Bob Seymour is Miller’s secretary - an impossible secretary, but he knows everybody worth knowing in High Society - and is a useful too] for his chief. Now Miller is going through a sticky financial patch, so he persuades Mike to give him control of her money bags. Bob tries to come to the rescue and that is the start of the complications, which soon involve the stupid private detective, Conway Paton, who becomes mixed up in the opening of a safe...'
