Play synopsis

Comedy. George and Margaret are invited to lunch to the dismay of the offspring of the Garth-Binders. Mother has hysterics, the children agree to help out and many other things occur before the guests arrive.

Production history

Published by Farrar & Rinehart in 1937, the year in which it also premiered in London. The original West End production played for 377 performances. It was filmed in 1940.
