Play synopsis

Set at the court of Frederick the Great, the play deals with the political marriage of the Prussian king’s sister, Princess Ulrica, to the Crown Prince of Sweden, and the liaison of her sister with a member of the king’s bodyguard. The time is 1774 and the place Potsdam and Mont Bijou.
