Play synopsis

The action takes place at Wilbury House, Middlesex and in Court I at the Central Criminal Court, London, in the year 1911. ‘The death of Sir Hubert’s wealthy brother-in-law was very opportune; so opportune that Sir Hubert finds himself on a murder charge’ (Radio Times, 11 July 1958, p. 19).

Production history
