Play synopsis: The wealthy drinker Maria Lummus dies: did her landlord Frederick Dyson murder her? This play, set in 1911 in London details how Dyson’s lust for material possessions is funded by his several lodgers: certainly he is guilty at least of intent to murder.
Production history: A Dead Secret was first produced at the Piccadilly Theatre, London in 1957.
