Nine hundred and fifty ton vessel of Fisheries’ Protection is washed ashore after gale.
The minesweeper, H.M.S. Wave, is swept on to the rocky foreshore at St Ives, Cornwall, and badly holed. Repairs are hurriedly made and soon the ship is afloat again.
