Bargain Hunt: Shakespeare Special

Synopsis
Themed episode of the series in which two teams of amateur antique collectors have an hour to acquire the best bargains on a budget and then see what happens when the items are sold at auction. Presented by Christina Trevanion, who visits the Warwickshire childhood home of Anne Hathaway, the wife of William Shakespeare. Built more than 500 years ago, the cottage near Stratford-upon-Avon was Anne’s family home. Trevanion learns that from the late 1700s, 150 years after Shakespeare’s death, tourists began flocking to see what they believed were items with strong connections to the young lovers.
