Gamlet

Synopsis: Recording of a stage production that is presented as a form of ‘lecture performance’ by Dr Petra Bjelica, based on her PhD: ‘Let the other be: Hamlet-ideologemes in Dostoevsky’s Demons.' The production is presented in three parts: in the first Hamlet is interrogated by the other characters from the play; the second explores the characters as interpreted by Dostoevsky; the final part seemingly breaks away from Bjelica’s intentions and embraces madness and free expression through dance.
