Finis Terrae
- Synopsis
- Two young men eke out a living by harvesting seaweed to burn for prized soda. When one of the cuts his thumb and an infection set in, it challenges the boundaries of their relationship and galvanises the neighbouring community. Director Jean Epstein blends documentary authenticity with cinematic invention (Robin Baker, BFI London Film Festival, 2019).
