Klute

Synopsis
When small town police detective John Klute comes to New York to investigate the disappearance of his best friend, his only lead is a letter to prostitute Bree Daniels. As these two very different people discover a romantic attraction to each other, Klute realises Daniels is the murderer’s real target. The film captures the mood of early-1970s New York and the predicament of a woman trying to find her own way on the fringes of society.
