This is a three-part documentary to mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of Germany’s best-known art, architecture and design school, the Bauhaus. It explores the legacy of this iconic German institution by asking architects, artists, urban planners, doers and dreamers: Do the Bauhaus’s social ideals and design principles still shape how we live today?
Part 2 of bauhausWORLD, takes viewers on a journey from Dessau to New York, Älmhult in Sweden and Ulm in Germany to examine the influence that Bauhaus still exerts on art, design and architecture around the globe.
