Echoes of Titanic

Synopsis
This is a collection of interviews, recollections and documentary information about the fateful maiden voyage of the Titanic, and how it touched many people’s lives. The film investigates the contemporary importance of the story of the Titanic. Walyter Lord, author of the book A Night to Remember, recalls some of the many stories which survivors related to him personally. Eva Hart’s own account is featured in the other Titanic documentaries from SFA, but what about her life before and after the tragedy - here she continues the story. Charles Haas and John P. Eaton, of Titanic International, chart the various cinematic representations of the disaster, and the educational importance of such dramatisations today.
