Learning on ScreenTrauma and the Brain
- Synopsis
- A short animation produced by NHS Lanarkshire’s Ending Violence and Abuse (EVA) Services to give Police Scotland officers an understanding of the impact of trauma on survivors of sexual assault and abuse. The animation, which condenses a two-hour training session into an 8-minute instructional film, is used to promote a trauma-informed approach in many professions in many countries across the world, from Judges in the USA to Mounties in Canada. The video won Best Animation and VFX award at the Royal Television Society Scotland.[8 minutes]
