Synopsis

BBC documentary looking at how Lenin, Trotsky and Stalin took control of Russia in just a few months in 1917. Dramatic re-enactments bring to life clashes, seminal speeches and the storming of the Winter Palace. Experts including historian Simon Schama and writers Martin Amis and Robert Harris debate and discuss.
