Speed for Sports Performance

Synopsis
Developed by speed training expert John Cissik , this DVD provides the tools to build a program to increase acceleration, speed, and endurance. Using a series of self-assessments, the viewer can identify areas of improvement and establish a baseline for training regimes. There are also exercises to improve key areas such as reaction time, technique, stride, mobility, and first-step explosiveness. Alternative training methods are included to aid rehabilitation and help prevent future injuries.
Sample training programs may also be customised to a sport’s seasonal workout schedule. Of particular interest is that these four-season programs and workouts can be printed from the DVD, so students can take the instructions directly to the field, court, or gym.
