- Synopsis
- Director Henri-Georges Clouzot met Picasso at a bullfight event in Nimes, where they discussed some ideas for a collaborative work. The result is this unconventional art documentary, which explores the workings of a creative mind by filming Picasso painting some 20 artworks on transparent surfaces. The works were destroyed afterwards so they only exist in the film.
Extras include A VISIT TO PICASSO (Paul Haesaerts, 1949), an interview with Maya Picasso, a featurette on the restoration of the film, and Man Ray home movie LA GAROUPE (1937). - Language
